Friends, family, and other folx
The friends in my life
And the Good Lord knows I need every one of them.
Those in Pittsburgh and CMU
The 7 Brothers:
We call ourselves 'brothers' because perhaps that's one thing missing from our lives that we think we want- a large immediate family.
- Greg Tapolow- Fellow artsy-guy and Aries! Drama is his passion, his forte.
- Me- Well, I'm part of 'em, so I might as well be listed among 'em!
- Dave Lebedda- I have three words for this man: Boogie-Boogie-Boogie!
- Shawn C. Knight- I lived with this man for 16 months. We're both sick.
- Trevor Schadt- The only person I know that can do a decent imitation of Fozzie Bear's voice.
- Norm Papernick- When he has something to say, "Meep" or "Hork" often finds its way into the statement.
- Ben Cordes- You have one of the most contagious laughs I've ever known.
The 7 Sisters:
Not to be outdone, nor overdone, nor over-easyed by the 7 brothers, these women have banded together to challenge the brothers' twisted capability.
Some call them The 7 deadly Sisters...
- Laura Valentine- The archfiend herself. Someone I never want to lose as a friend.
- Susan Nelson- Will you be tired of travelling once you get back home?
- Tara Jennings- My partner for the "Be Submissive" cheer!
- Charlotte Yano- Another artist, another Aries, and one of the most special friends I have.
- Bev White- Or "Wednesday". Regardless, she's cool and has some of the neatest music. Ya like clams? (Ok, she's in Toronto, not Pittsburgh...)
- Jen Gray - That grin of yours is unsettling at times, but I liiiiiiike it.
- Erin Childs- Do you still want to be me when you grow up? :-)
Other good friends and (former) classmates
- Ann Kopchik- I'm glad to have her as a friend. We survived CMU and all of those... "other" things ;-)
- Arch Moberly- Congratualations on his recent marriage to Tracy Linke. (BTW, Tracy is a long-time friend of Ann's)
- Deanna Rubin- One of my littles in A Phi O, and a very special person. Remember Borneo!
- Tim Showalter- A proud Kiltie, but he won't let us call him "Jif".
- Julie Dunn- Laura's roommate, and another Kiltie who misses competitive marching.
- Steve "Happy" Chai- A great guy, and a greater "Weird" Al Yankovic fan! His homepage will prove it!
- Ken Sharp- During my tenure, the only other Kiltie Band member that was a music major (trombone performance).
- DeWitt Talmadge Latimer, IV- Or just "Tal" to the rest of us. Another Kiltie tromboner (trombonist? tromboneer?), and this year's pledgemaster! Welcome back from Switzerland, Tal!
- Lainie Petersen-A good friend of mine in Evanston, Illinois. She's taught me a lot about Christianity and magick, and she has a twisted sense of humor to boot!
Those in Texas
I'm proud of where I was raised- a page dedicated to my home state coming... eventually
- Thomas Gwosdz- My best friend from high school. We've seen each other and ourselves go through many changes.
- Paul Flores- The man who got this page started. He works hard, parties hard, and drives fast!
If his homepage doesn't come up, check out where he works at Phoenix Data Systems in Houston. More reliable. ;-)
- Jonah Dietz- Has a huge movie and music collection. He can get intense sometimes, but is still a dear friend.
- Cathy Kalmus- Oh, I've only known this woman for 17 years now. I can talk to her about anything, anyone, at anytime. One of the best friends I have.
There'll be more to come with this friends page as I think of some modifications.
