PSYCHIC SURGEON advances on PADGETT. PADGETT watches him, entranced. A
door slams, and KRYCEK appears.

KRYCEK: Back off. This son of a bitch is mine.

PSYCHIC SURGEON: He created me. This is the only ending there can be.

KRYCEK: You going to be a slave all your life? Just doing what his
words tell you?

PSYCHIC SURGEON looks thoughtful, then turns around and walks away.

KRYCEK: Now, as for you...

PADGETT: Who are you?

KRYCEK: You weren't doing a very good job of stalking Scully, you know.
It took her a while to spot you, but I saw you the very first night.
And you *never* saw *me*.

PADGETT: What?

KRYCEK: (advancing) You heard me.

PADGETT: Who the hell are you?

KRYCEK reaches out and grabs PADGETT'S hand, forcing it towards
PADGETT'S chest.

KRYCEK: I'm a murderer. A real one. And I'm not going to go away.

PADGETT: Noooooooooooooooooooo*gurgle*
