No Warning is a mailing list for those who like to be surprised. It is primarily a fanfiction mailing list, though original fiction is allowed. It is NOT a discussion list.

Fiction posts to No Warning have--guess what?--no warnings. I do mean NONE. Zip. Nada. Someone gets raped and chopped into little bits? Might happen. Something that starts out slash might end up het? Might happen. You never know.

In addition, No Warning has the following community rules you should be aware of:

• No ratings required. Anything from G to NC-17 is allowed, but no one has to list the rating in the subject or anywhere in the story. If you want to put the rating in, you may--but don't expect to see them, and you will never be forced to add them if you don't want to.
• Pairing listings encouraged, but not required. Many people prefer to have pairings; many people don't. If you don't have any preference, please try to include pairings--but if you'd rather not, that's fine too!
• Do include a fandom listing (or "Original" for original fiction). Many people are only interested in a few fandoms. This is a filtering mechanism.
• Slash fiction and het erotic fiction are both permitted, as is gen fiction.
• No flaming. There's a three-strikes rule: if authors complain to me about flames from you three times (and if I agree that you did, in fact, flame the author), you're out. Remember, when reading, that there are no warnings on these stories: you might hit something you don't like. Don't go flaming the author for it: you are an adult, and you chose to read the story.
• Again: Fic only. No discussion. Story announcements and recommendations are permitted, with ANNOUNCE: and REC: labels in the subjects.
