My name is Becky. I'm a quilt-aholic. I've
been quilting since 1999 and started with a Dear Jane
since I didn't know any better. After 30 or so blocks, purple and white
wasn't speaking to me anymore, so I needed to find something more in
line with my graphic sensibilities. Check out the works in progress
below:
Jane
#1 (currently on hold as I decide what to do with it,
if anything)
My
first one has purple and blue focus fabrics with different white-on-whites
(WOWs) as the backgrounds. Check my
progress starting with Row A.

#2 (one block done on this one, in limbo too))
I
fell in love with the 2000 Hoffman Challenge fabric. The idea was a 4X4
wall hanging. See how far I've gotten with this
one.

#3 (moving right along on this one)
I
couldn't stop with just two...in my online shopping travels, I came across
some eyepopping black and white prints. I filed this information away into
the back of my head, and found it a few weeks later when it combined with
the fact that my sister is a black and white kind of person. She's also
graduating from a Master's degree program in May [update - she graduated
in 2000, so this is *way* overdue]. Present...black and white
fabric...black and white Jane! This quilt fits into everything. I bounced
the idea off the wonderful people on the Dear Jane email list, made a mockup
in Photoshop, and decided to go for it. If you don't get
dizzy easily, take a look at those blocks.
Other Jane projects in progress include siggy swap squares, Spring
Fling blocks, pillows with fabric from a secret pal, and burgundy and gold
blocks. I will work on getting those pictures up someday.
Part
of Jane's magic is the camaraderie that comes along with making this journey.
