Larry Card brought some of his Nn3 scale EBT models to the railroad's opening weekend in 2004 for a couple of folks to photograph and for more to enjoy. One hopper was lost when it fell to the ground and was covered by a blade of grass (OK, it was just the brake wheel). Photos were taken with a 28-80mm lens and +1 or +2 diopter closeup filter, with the aperture stopped all the way down.

Mikado number 19 has a Marklin chassis, a Bachmann 0-6-0 switcher shell
with styrene cab sides cut to "EBT specs", and Details Associates pilot and
steam turret. The tender is scratchbuilt from styrene and rides on
MicroTrains Z scale Bettendorf trucks.
