EBT Fall Event/FEBT Fall Reunion, Oct 9-10, 2004

These photos are presented in roughly chronological order. Person and vehicle identifications are always in the order from left to right. All photos taken with a Canon Eos RebelXS camera with either a Tamron 28-80mm lens or a Canon 75-300mm lens. Film is Kodak Max 400. All photos in this section copyright 2004 by William Adams.

For the coal train, riders followed aboard the picnic train and were discharged into the adjacent fields for the runbys. Here the coal train is on the S curve, and the photographers can be seen scattered about the fields.

Speeder rides head south from the shop complex, all the way to the IOOF cemetary road.

Linn Moedinger, Chief Steam Mechanic of the Strasburg Rail Road treated FEBT Reunion attendees to an hour long talk about the work Strasburg had undertaken on EBT locomotive #15, and locomotive maintenance in general.

On Sunday, the weather was much improved for photography of the coal train.

Diesel M-7 pulls 17 past the shops to the turntable.

Locomotive 17 waiting while the turntable is aligned. M4 will then push the 17 (with all its might) into the roundhouse.

For a little linside interest, the EBT had the "ice cube" speeder placed out on the jigger track in the S-curve.

After sheduled service concluded, a hardy group was dispatched on the one-lunger to retrieve the ice cube. That's quite a set of shades.
