Masonry repairs completed, work begins on replacing the rotted wood beams above.

Inside the boiler house. The larger timber bracing at right is from the US Park
Service in the early 1990's. FEBT installed the bracing, temporary header, and
the rafter sisters toward the left. As repairs are made to the wall, these braces
will be removed.

It's starting to look like a caboose again! The sheathing is complete, the facia and
subfacia are on, the windows are trimmed (outside) and the cupola has gotten the first
of several repairs. Here the new insulated stovepipe passthough is installed in the roof.
