Caboose 27 has been taken out of storage, given a fresh coat of paint, and
awaits stencilling. This job was not performed by the FEBT, but contracted
out by the railroad.

The shed has received brand new doors. The originals were long gone, and
reference material on them had not been located, so the replacements were built
in a common EBT style. A reference found after the fact showed them to be
quite close.

A replacement window frame and sash was built for the south wall, copied from
the surviving rear window. It was test fit this weekend, to be installed later.

Upon further review, I think the work in this photo was done July 13....
Still, first thing Saturday morning, FEBT assisted EBT and RTY in replacing
three ties under this switch. The job began at 9am, and the spikes were going
in as the 11am train departed on the adjacent track. The job was done just
as the train returned (and traveled over this switch). This photo was taken
after the fact on Aug 30.
