photos use ambient light because my flash is too weak for such a large and
distant subject, and afterall, it's supposed to be a night photo so why light
it up like daylight and blind everyone? However, this guy next to me had a
huge honking flash, so I just kept an eye on him as he watched it recharge,
and when he went back to his camera I opened up and caught his flash.

clustered on the other (floodlit) side, but I really like this shot from
the dark side. I just wish I had framed it better, something I often

This is PRR's freight depot in Mt Union, at the interchange point of the
EBT and PRR.
In front is the Conrail spur. The depot is in use as a senior citizens'
center and looks to be in great shape, with a recently replaced/refinished
roof over the shed portion. Behind is room for a curving spur along
a rock retaining wall.
